Adrian Chu is the founder and President of Specialty Real Estate Group, a vertically integrated real estate platform , serving the greater Seattle area and the San Francisco Bay Area. Since 2010, Adrian has brokered more than 700 real estate transactions totaling over $500 million in volume.
Rather than operate as a single-service agent, Adrian built six interconnected businesses to handle every stage of the real estate process in-house:
- Specialty Real Estate Group — full-service brokerage for buyers, sellers, investors, and developers
- Specialty Design+Build — construction and development
- Specialty Home Loans (NMLS 2154241) — in-house residential lending
- Laurelhurst Property Management — residential and commercial property management
- Seattle Rat Abatement — pre-demolition rodent abatement services
- Adrian Chu Agency — insurance, with a focus on builder’s risk coverage
Adrian holds real estate broker licenses in Washington, California, Oregon, and Arizona, and mortgage loan originator licenses across multiple states. He also runs a Real Estate Accelerator program, training agents to operate the way he does — as investors and builders, not just transaction facilitators.
Adrian grew up in Seattle, studied Electrical Engineering, and earned an MBA from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. Previously, he held technical leadership positions at various tech companies including Microsoft, Intel and Boeing.
